On behalf of Joe & the Juice, we are seeking a Regional Controller for the company’s global headquarters in Copenhagen.

As Joe & the Juice’s new Regional Controller, you'll be at the heart of this transformation, playing a pivotal role in preparing the organisation for a potential IPO while taking full financial ownership of a designated region. This isn't just about numbers ‒ it's about driving performance, enabling growth and making a genuine impact in a purpose-driven, agile business. Joe & the Juice's growth journey continues and needs a new Regional Controller on the team, and you will be responsible for one of their geographical regions.
Your role – where finance meets strategy:
You'll be the Finance Manager for your region, with complete ownership of both balance sheet and P&L. You'll join a passionate team of six within the External Reporting, Controlling & Tax department, reporting directly to the Head of Controlling.
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Own your region's financial reporting – ensuring accuracy, timeliness and full IFRS compliance
- Lead month-end close and reconciliation processes in collaboration with Financial Shared Services
- Manage statutory audits and local financial statements, serving as the go-to contact for auditors and tax authorities
- Oversee tax and VAT compliance, ensuring all submissions meet local regulations
- Be the trusted sparring partner to regional business leaders and support the Finance Business Partner in creating transparency and intelligence that drives performance
- Provide technical accounting guidance to support key business decisions and transformation initiatives
- Drive process improvements and uphold strong internal controls across Finance workflows
- Collaborate cross-functionally with HQ departments, Financial Shared Services, Group Tax, FP&A and external partners
- Mentor junior finance colleagues, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Who you are – the perfect blend:
Your background:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 7+ years of progressive experience in financial controlling, accounting or audit within an international organisation
- Strong technical grasp of IFRS with hands-on experience managing statutory audits and local reporting
- Proven track record in driving process improvements, implementing controls and managing complex reconciliations
- ERP system experience (ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365) and advanced Excel/data analysis skills
- Fluent English communication with stakeholders at all levels.
